Samara writes character-driven novels because nothing excites her more than understanding what makes a person tick. That’s why she writes flawed heroes and heroines with redemptive arcs and why she enjoys coaching using Clifton Strengths, because there’s always room for growth.
With close to 15 years of experience in communications and marketing, her greatest strength is understanding people, what motivates them, what information they need to help them reach their goals. She works one-on-one with creatives, physicists, and engineers to help them develop and optimise their processes, which might seem like an odd grouping but draws on the common creativity and problem-solving aspects of their crafts.

Samara has an undergraduate degree in creative writing and post-graduate degrees in education and science. She is an award-winning author of historical romance and in her spare time tries valiantly to keep her garden alive. She’s based in Canberra, Australia.
