SHOW NOTES
Here’s the “flip side” of the write-to-market episode we did. Hopefully this will provide a good counterpoint to the “seven skills of writing to market” episode we did at the beginning of the year. Joining me is special guest Nat Connors, of Kindletrends (data for writers).
By that phrase, I mean “you should intentionally create books that are aimed at a ‘target’ that ‘exists’ in the minds of readers.” There are a few things to take into account when you are assuming you should throw off your intuitive process for one that involves lots of intentional choices. It’s important to question whether or not you should listen when people say “if you just did this, you’d be able to do what I can do.”
Hope you enjoy!
