What’s the happiest you have been in this publishing industry of ours?
Tell me about the moment. Paint me a picture of that joy.
And then tell me how you can live a little piece of that today.
For me, the happiest I’ve ever been was when I was publishing between 2014 and 2017. And yes, there were lots of things I liked about it (including the ability to just put books up and have them sell because the saturation point wasn’t so extreme). But the thing I liked the most was being lost in the writing early in the morning with a good cup of coffee and the manuscript.
